When a subscribed contact clicks the unsubscribe link in your Mailchimp email, or when you manually unsubscribe a contact, the system changes the contact's email marketing status. We know accidents happen, so there are several ways to resubscribe a contact.
- Mailchimp respects any contact's request to be unsubscribed from your email marketing. Contacts can opt-out of your marketing through the unsubscribe link in your email campaigns. To resubscribe, they need to opt-in through your signup form
- If you've manually unsubscribed contacts from your email marketing, you can resubscribe them. Contacts who unsubscribe themselves will need to resubscribe through your signup form.
To Resubscribe contacts, follow these steps:

If an admin unsubscribed them, an admin can follow these instructions to resubscribe them.
