How to create a new tag?

To create a new tag go to: 

Admin → People Management → Groups

Click on “Tagged People”

Click on “New Group” at the bottom

Fill out the available space with the appropriate information about your new tag and hit SAVE.

Once you save, find the new tag you created in the Tagged People page, click on it and then add people to the group. You can do this by either typing their name in the search box provided or by finding their name from a different group.

Don’t forget to “Synchronize with MailChimp” so that your group is automatically updated on MailChimp too. This will allow you to then send a marketing campaign specifically to this group if you chose to create one using MailChimp.

💡 Note: 

• Always update user’s email information on Helpful Village, not on Mailchimp 

• Helpful Village will synchronize with mailchimp making sure the information is accurate, however this does not work the other way around, Mailchimp will not send user’s email information back to Helpful Village
