Adding Villagers – Members, Volunteers And Donors – HELPFUL VILLAGE

Overview

Members can also be volunteers at the same time. However, if an individual is only volunteering and not a member, they should be registered through the volunteer process.

There are multiple ways to add Members and Volunteers to the Helpful Village platform. Administrators can choose the method that best fits their needs. One of the most efficient ways is to upload a file with user information, which Helpful Village can process for bulk migration. In addition, administrators can manually add individuals, or Villagers can complete application forms themselves. Below are the available options for adding users to the platform:

1. Send Us an Excel File for Bulk Upload

The easiest way to get started is to send us an Excel file with the following key details:

Once we receive your file, we will upload the data to the platform for you. After that, you can continue updating and adding any additional details for your members and volunteers.

3. Members Can Fill Out an Application Form*

Share the application form link with members so they can submit their details directly. Before doing this, please make sure that the Membership Types are properly set up.

4. Volunteers Can Fill Out an Application Form

Another option is to share the application form link with volunteers so they can submit their details directly. Before doing this, please make sure that the Volunteer Activities are properly set up.

Steps to enable Volunteer Applications:

A) Set up Volunteer Activities: Admin > Service Management > Volunteers Activities

B) Share the Volunteer Application Form link:

• Navigate to About Us > Volunteer Info > Volunteer Application Form

• Copy the link and send it to volunteers
