Website Settings

Go to Admin → Settings.

You will be taken to the Website tab, which is the first tab in the Settings section.

At the top of the page, you will find the following buttons:

Upload Your Village Logo

The next step is to upload your Village's logo.

Click Choose File, as shown in the examples below, and select the logo image from your device.

Once the logo has been uploaded, you will see recommendations for the appropriate logo orientation based on the image dimensions. You can also delete the logo if needed.

You can choose from the following logo orientations:

Horizontal
Square
Vertical
Logo on Top

You can also choose whether to display a header image across your webpages.

To upload a header, follow the same process used to upload your logo. We recommend a header image that is approximately 1,200 px wide. The height can vary depending on your design; we typically recommend around 200 px high.

The “Is Public Menu Activated” checkbox allows you to activate the public menu while you are working on your website.

When you have finished making your changes, click Save.

Website and SEO Settings

Next, scroll down to the Website and SEO section.

Here, you will find several options for customizing how your website appears to visitors.

Check “Hide Menu Icons” if you do not want icons to appear next to the menu options at the top of your website.
Check “Hide Checkboxes in Contact Page” if you do not want the checkboxes to appear on your Contact page.

SEO Settings

Your SEO Title, Keywords, and Description are important because they can affect how your Village appears in search engine results.

Take some time to carefully consider the information you enter in each of these fields. For recommendations and guidance, please see our Website Building Action Plan.

When you have finished, click Save to apply your changes.
