Go to ADMIN → Settings
You will be taken to the Website tab (the first tab in Settings). Click Web Templates.
A web template is a template that you can set up for all the pages on your website. For instance, it can be a header or a footer. We create a footer example and SAVE.
Now that the footer has been created, you can go to an editable page, and insert this web template from the text editor.
ADMIN → Settings Website tab → Editable pages
Edit an editable page, and from the text editor press on "Insert" → "Insert template" → select the template and SAVE. The web template gets included at the current location in the content. So you need to place the cursor where you want it to be included.
💡 Note:
The process of inserting a web template from the text editor is the same process for adding into an email template. There is a difference between "include" and "copy". When you "copy" a template, the template will be copied but if you "include" a template means that you will include that template where you want on the editable pages. If you change a template, if you had taken the "include" option the template will be changed automatically in all pages where it has been included.
When you add a template with the "include" option on an editable page, you will see a red line such the image below, before saving the changes:
Once you hit the SAVE button, you will be able to see how the "include" looks like, see the example below:
