Go to "Admin"-->"Settings"

Select the "Services" tab.

You will see two buttons:
1) Groups. By clicking the "Groups" button, you will find our explanation of group categories.
2) Provider categories. Upon clicking on the "Provider Categories" button, you will be directed to a list of provider categories and subcategories
Now, let's explain the service settings:
The first option is to "Send automatic daily mail to volunteers?" If you check this box, the system will automatically send emails to volunteers who volunteer for the requested services for the open service requests. The system will open at 10:00 am to see if there are any open service requests to take place in the future. If there are future service requests, emails will be sent to include when the future open service requests will take place.
Note:
For both flexible dates and non-flexible dates, the date has to be in the future.
The second setting is to "Send evaluation mails to members?" If this option is activated, members will receive an evaluation email such as the example below:
The third setting is to "Send evaluation mails to volunteers?" If this option is activated, volunteers will receive an evaluation email such as the example below:
The fourth setting is to "Ask Mileage question in the volunteers service evaluation form for all services?"
The purpose of logging mileage for volunteers is to enable them to deduct it from their taxes and use that data when villages talk with donors/grantors. Now, volunteers may log all of their mileage, including traveling to and from a member's house, since those miles qualify as a donation.
These are the options for Member Initials:

The "Both" option will show a member's initials (first name and last name initials) on the service request.
The "Full name" option with show the member's full name on the service request.
The "Last name" initial option will only show the member's last name initial on the service request.
These are the options for Creation Flow:

"Member Opens" means that admins and members can create service requests, and those will be immediately visible.
"Admin Opens" means that only admins can create a service request. Hence, members are not able to create service requests.
"Member Requests" means that members can create service requests but those will not be visible until admin validates them.
The "Matched volunteer instructions" will be shown to the volunteer when the volunteers see the service request online and on the confirmation email.
The "Matched member instructions" will be shown to the member when the member sees the service request online and on the confirmation email.

Example:

There are more settings available for settings:

The check box "Max one per member in daily email?" will limit to email only one service request per member. For example if a member has two service requests opened, only one will be sent by email.
The option to "Send an email to admin when new service request?" will enable only Admin to be notified when a member requests a new service request. This option helps admin to be alerted of all services so that all members' service requests are fulfilled.
The option to "Send an email to member when service request is matched by volunteer?" enables members to receive an email when the service request has been matched by a volunteer so that members will be reassured that their needs are covered.
"Show emergency contacts" causes all emergency contacts to show on the service request.
"Are service request showing the matched volunteer?", if checked, will result in the service request page showing the matched volunteer to the member. The member can then click on a link to see the profile of the volunteer that is going to come help.

"Authorize volunteer to overlap service requests" enables admin to allow volunteers to overlap service requests.
"Authorize important flag for service requests?" allows admin to decide to allow a flag for "important" service requests. This will help volunteers to prioritize important service requests.
"Should we first show service opportunities filtered by volunteer's local village" will show the service opportunities for a local village for hub & spoke villages first.

You can set a "Max number of requests per member per month".
You can set a "Max number of requests per household member per month" in which the system will make the addition of the number of service requests for two members of a household.
Admin can decide what name they want displayed on the providers menu, "Providers menu display name." Admin can also manage where to place this menu option within the menu manager.
After selecting all the settings that you want to set up, click "SAVE."
