The Phone Tree Feature is a feature that allows Village Volunteers to complete daily Check-Ins for Emergency Campaigns → Making Check-Ins easier to complete for a Village
Village Admins will have to pair Volunteers with Members → Creating a Phone Tree
Villages can have Volunteers complete Check-Ins with as many Members as seen fit → for this training doc. We will be pairing 5 Members for one Volunteer
FOR ADMINS → To pair a Volunteer with a Member
- We recommend downloading or printing out an Active Volunteers report to match Volunteers with Members, making sure every member has an assigned volunteer
- You could also use (Village Maps) to see and pair Volunteers with Members that live close by
Village {ADMIN}. → To match a Member with a Volunteer → Search desired Volunteer
Once you have searched the desired Volunteer → Scroll down to the bottom of their user profile and under Relationships → Click → New Relationship
This is where you pair the Volunteer with Members → (5 Members for 1 Volunteer)
When Searching a Person, you are searching the Member → The Selected Person is the Volunteer you are assigning to
When choosing Relationship name → Choose “Village Buddy” →THIS BUILDS the Village (Phone Tree)
It is easiest to pair the 5 Members with the Volunteer, from the Volunteers User profile
Once the Volunteer is matched with five Members with the relationship →“Village Buddy” → Volunteers can use the (Phone Tree) Feature to conduct Check-Ins
Volunteers can access the phone tree to conduct Check-ins by selecting → Volunteers → Buddies Check-ins
Admins will be able to see all the “Village Buddy” Relationships within the Village → Volunteers will only be able to see their “Village Buddies”
