Whenever you create a new person in the database, they will not be able to log in until login access is explicitly granted. This restriction is in place for security reasons.
If an admin clicks Send Password Instructions, the system will automatically uncheck Unable to Login, allowing the person to access their account.
How to Grant Login Access
Search for the person using the Search bar, then click on their profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the profile page and make sure the Unable to Login checkbox is not checked.
3. Click Update.
4. Click Send Password Instructions. This will notify the person that they can now log in to their account.
💡 Note:
The Unable to Login setting is used for:
- Members or volunteers who are not currently authorized to log in.
- Admin staff or volunteers who no longer assist the organization.
- Only Admins can uncheck the Unable to Login box.
