Go to Admin → Settings → Membership.

Click Membership Types to create and manage different membership types.

Grace Period

You can establish a Grace Period for expired memberships.

Enter the number of days you would like the grace period to last. Members within the Grace Period are considered Active Members by Helpful Village.

Automatic Renewal Emails

By default, Helpful Village sends a renewal email one month before the membership expiration date.

If you would like to change this schedule, please contact support@helpfulvillage.com. You can also request multiple renewal emails—for example, one 30 days before expiration and another 10 days before expiration.

Membership Settings Options

You can enable or disable the following options by checking the corresponding box:

1. Display Members Email in Directory?

Choose whether members' email addresses should be displayed in the Member Directory.

The Member Directory is only visible to members.

2. Display Members Address in Directory?

Choose whether members' addresses should be displayed in the Member Directory.

The Member Directory is only visible to members.

3. Send Automatic Renewal Emails?

Renewal messages can be sent manually to individual members, or Helpful Village can send them automatically.

Check this box to enable automatic renewal emails.

4. Only Send Renewal Emails to Primary Members?

We recommend enabling this option for household memberships. This prevents both partners in the household from receiving the same renewal notice.
