What is the Members Directory?

The Members Directory is a tool that admin, members managers, and active members can view. It is found under the ‘MEMBERS’ menu. 

You can also find it by adding this extension to your URL: 

/users_by_admins/members_directory

Example: https://demo.helpfulvillage.com/users_by_admins/members_directory

There are a couple of different settings that can be used for this feature. 

• Our factory settings show:

1. Members first and last name
2. Phone number
3. Local Village (ONLY if hub + spoke)

• You can turn on additional settings:

1. Display: Address
2. Display: Email address

• Please email Helpful Village if you would like either of these activated

An additional setting you can activate is a premium feature: Geo-Coding: Google Locations. This enables interactive maps to be displayed by clusters of members and volunteers. Find out more here.

We can hide the Members Directory menu if not wanted or used. (however, we do not recommend this)

💡 Note:

When a new member is created, factory settings have that they are automatically included in the directory. If a member would like to be excluded from the Members Directory, you can visit their profile and select the
"Member" tab. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and "uncheck"the box" is "Included  In Members Directory". Then click "Save Membership Info".
