The first step is to search the Deceased Member
Go to the ‘Member’ tab and change status to "Deceased" and enter drop reason (Deceased) and the death date
If the Deceased Member was in a Household Membership, look up the Associated member of the Deceased Member and change their Membership status to "Dropped" → You can click on the Associated Member through the Deceased Members user profile
In the Associated Members user profile of the Deceased Member, changing the STATUS to "Dropped" records the previous Household membership at the bottom of the users profile
For the DROP REASON → select "Changed Membership" and then change MEMBERSHIP TYPE to Individual
To change the Associated Members membership from Household to Individual → Record the Members Expiration Date → as you will need to re-enter it
Change the current Expiration date to today's date
Scroll down and select → SAVE MEMBERSHIP INFO
Once you have Saved and changed the Associated Members membership type, you have to “Add Another Membership”
This will create a new membership and save the old membership at the bottom of the page under “Previous Memberships”
Once you have saved the membership information you will see a Green dot next to the Member tab
At this point you have now recorded and changed the Membership type for the User, and have recorded a Deceased Member
At the bottom of the Members tab you will see the previously recorded household membership recorded
