How to handle the death of an active volunteer?

Go to the volunteer's profile. You can search the person with "Search person" bar at the upper left corner.

Once on this person's profile, go to the Volunteer tab, scroll down and put in the Volunteer End Date and SAVE.

If the Volunteer End Date that you introduced is in the past you will see a red dot on the Volunteer tab. If the person passed away today (therefore you put today's date) the red dot will appear tomorrow.

To stop sending emails to this person, please go to this person General tab and scroll down, uncheck MailChimp box and then press on "MailChimp synch this person".

Once you have done the synchronization, you will see that the checkbox for MailChimp Archived will be automatically checked.

If you wish, you may also write a note on this person's profile.
