How to add or remove a person and synchronize to a group with MailChimp?

• To connect Helpful Village Interest Groups to MailChimp you must be an ADMIN of your Village 
• Connecting Interest Groups to MailChimp allows Villages ADMIN to send out mass emails to that specific Interest Group

To Connect Interest Groups with MailChimp → ADMIN → People Management → Groups

Click Interest Groups 

Select the Interest Group you would like to Synchronize with MailChimp

This is where ADMINS can manually ADD or REMOVE a member from an Interest Group, as Synchronize the group with MailChimp

• To REMOVE a member from Interest Group click REMOVE

• To Manually ADD a member to the Interest Group:
  SEARCH PERSON → Click the RED (Select!) → Member will automatically be added to Interest Group 

New Member (Colin Branca) was added to the BOOK CLUB Interest Group 

The   next to the member’s names means the member is subscribed to MailChimp on their individual User Profile and will receive the Interest Groups Emails >>> (THIS IS DONE BY AN ADMIN) 

NO means the member is apart of the Interest Group, but will not receive emails regarding Interest Group updates and upcoming events for that Interest Group 

To Synchronize Interest Group with MailChimp click Synchronize 

You will receive a message letting you know the synchronization with your Interest Group and MailChimp was successful.
