Interest Groups Exclusively for Active Volunteers

In order to allow volunteers to collaborate more easily, two new interest groups have been added by default to Village Talk: active volunteers and call managers. 

To give volunteers rights to be participants on Village Talk:

Go to volunteer's profile → General

Scroll down to "Rights Management" section → check "Village Talk Participant" box → select "Update"

This volunteer will now be able to fully participate on Village Talk.

Active Volunteers group:

All volunteers have been added to this group by default. This group is for use by volunteers to make posts about any topic.

Here are some examples of how this group can be used!

Call Managers group:

This group is meant solely for call managers and is a place where they can exchange information about daily operations with one another. 

To add volunteers to Call Manager group:

 From the start page select: ADMIN → People Management → Groups → Interest Groups 

Select all managers 

Scroll down to section titled "Add new person to this group"

Search desired volunteer → click Select

The volunteer is then added to the group.

You must be an admin to add volunteers.
