How to moderate Comments in Village Talk as an ADMIN?

• Moderating a comment is a feature that allows admins to monitor and edit Posts within Village Talk   
• Moderating Comments can be useful when inappropriate or unwanted posts are commented in certain Interest Groups

Ex. of this would be an unwanted political conversion, wrong information, rude/inappropriate language, etc. 

• You can Moderate a Post in Village Talk by selecting the three dots in the corner of the post

• It will give you the option to Edit or Moderate the comment

Editing will allow you to edit the original post if there is a obvious mistake or wrong information given within the post → The Admin can adjust the post accordingly

• Clicking Moderate will bring you to a New Moderation page where you will be able to adjust the comment/post accordingly
• Once in the Moderation Page you will be able to see the original comment/post you are Moderating, the Author and the Moderation Status

• The Moderation Status allows you to select what type of Moderating the comment/post needs

• The Admin will have the ability to:

(Accept, Pend Approval, Require Editing, or Refuse) the comment/post 

• The Comments section allows you to justify the Moderation of the comment/post 

Pending Approval: This Moderation notifies the author via email and removes the comment/post from Village Talk temporarily. (Only Admins and the Author of the Post will be able to see the Pending Approval Moderation)

→ The Author will be able to edit the post from their email 

From the Members email, the Member will be able to edit their comment/post accordingly to the Admins Moderation comment. 

• The Member will then adjust the comment/post accordingly. When the Moderation is edited by the Member and re-submitted for Pending Approval, the Admin will receive an email of the adjustments made

• The edits of the Moderation will then update to Village talk and Pend further approval. The Admin will again have the option to (Accept, Pend further Approval, Require Editing or Refuse) the Moderation
• Accepting the Moderation will then make the comment/post visible to all on Village talk 

Editing Required & Refused: When you Refuse or Request Editing on a comment/post in Moderating, the same steps and procedures apply as Pending Approval. 

• The comment/post becomes only visible to the Admins and Author, and an email is sent to the Member letting them know the Post was Refused from Village Talk
