How to add a volunteer to a Village Builder Category?

There are two ways to add a volunteer to a Service Group or Village Builder Group.

Option 1: Add a Volunteer from the Group

Step 1: Open Groups

Go to:

Admin → People Management → Groups

Select See Groups.

Step 2: Select the Group

Find and select the specific Service Group or Village Builder Group where you want to add the volunteer.

You will see a list of the volunteers who have already been screened and are currently members of the group.

Step 3: Search for the Volunteer

At the bottom of the page, you will find a Search Person field.

Enter the name of the screened volunteer you would like to add.

Once you find the person, click Select.

The volunteer will then be added to the selected group.

Option 2: Add a Volunteer from Their Profile

You can also add a volunteer to Service Groups directly from their profile.

1. Open the volunteer's profile.
2. Click the Volunteer tab.
3. Select the Service Groups that the volunteer has offered to help with.
4. Click UPDATE when you have finished.

The selected Service Groups will then be associated with the volunteer's profile.
