How to Add Instant Membership to Application Forms

Instant Membership Overview

Instant Membership is a premium feature that allows individuals to become members immediately upon submitting their application and payment, eliminating the need for administrative approval. This feature includes a one-time activation fee of $130.

Steps to Activate Instant Membership

1. Request Feature Activation

To get started, submit a ticket requesting the Premium Feature activation and confirm your acceptance of the one-time fee of $130.

2. Configure Instant Membership

Once the feature is activated, follow these steps to implement it on your site:

1. Navigate to Admin → Settings → Membership tab → Membership Types.

2. Select the membership type you wish to enable for instant membership and click Edit.

3. At the bottom of the page, check the box labeled Is open for instant membership (with payment)?, then click Save.

After enabling this feature, your membership forms will now allow applicants to pay for their membership immediately upon submission, converting them into members automatically.

Additional Requirements for Offering Instant Membership

To provide membership types with instant membership via credit card payments on application forms, administrators must:

• Ensure credit card processing is enabled.

• Verify that all membership types are properly configured for instant payment.

Go to Admin → Settings 

Select ‘Membership’ tab → ‘Membership Types’ 

Find the membership form you wish to change to ‘instant membership’ → select ‘Edit’ 

Note: You can also create a new membership with the option for instant membership with credit card

At the bottom of the page, check the ‘​​Is open for instant membership (with payment)?’ box → select ‘Save’ 

The membership type is now updated and available for instant membership on the Membership Application Form.
