What is the Village Maps feature ? – HELPFUL VILLAGE

Village maps is a premium feature that allows you to visualize your Villages map on multiple layers
The Geocoding feature is a pre-requirement for Village Maps as we need to geolocate the people to display them on the map
The Map is a connecting feature that shows Members and Volunteers in your Village

To access Village maps → Admin → Village Maps

A map of your Village will populate with multiple layers - Initially showing all the Villages Members and Volunteers

The Multiple Layers give you options to see individual Members and Volunteers locations on the Map

The Filters option allows you to coordinate different neighborhoods and see the Village community as a whole → You can select to see different people within the community in the Legend

The Emergency Campaign is a Check-in premium feature that allows you to conduct Check-ins using the Village Maps feature → ( The following instructions require HV premium Check-in feature)

By selecting the Emergency you can choose different Emergency Campaigns that your Village has created

By selecting an Emergency campaign in this example (COVID-19) → It will only populate that Emergency Campaign on the Map

Selecting an Emergency Campaign → (COVID-19) will populate all the Emergency groups (High, Medium, Low) creating a breakdown of groups to conduct easy Check-ins

The Black faces on the Map indicate the Member has not been checked in with yet → You can select a face from the Map and conduct a Check-in, as well as access the Members user-profile

Conducting Check-ins will populate different colored faces, letting Village Admins know check-ins have been conducted with these members

This feature provides a visual representation of how people are feeling within your Village →By clicking on the colored faces you can see the status of how the person is feeling
