Public Menu vs Private Menu

Go to Admin → Settings → Website and click the Menu Manager button.

This will take you to the MENU MANAGEMENT page.

Public and Private Menus

The Public Menu is the menu displayed to website visitors who are not logged in.

The Private Menu is the menu displayed to users who are logged in.

When users log in to Helpful Village, they gain access to a variety of interactive features. For this reason, the private menu can have a different organisational structure, making it easier for users to distinguish between general website information and interactive platform features.

💡 Tip: Previewing the Public Menu

When making changes to the Public Menu, it can be helpful to use two different browsers.

• Use one browser (such as Chrome) to make changes in the Menu Manager.
• Use a different browser (such as Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge) to view the website while logged out.

This allows you to see exactly how the Public Menu appears to visitors who are not logged in while you make your changes.
