Setting up a MailChimp account is simple. Visit the link below and you will be able to create a free account with MailChimp that will be associated with your Village data and information.
- We suggest creating the MailChimp account with an email associated with your Villages domain name, such as email@example.com rather than a personal email account. This will help with delivery rates and help avoid your email campaigns being sent to spam folders. If you do not have a domain email address, you can set up an email forwarding through your Domain Registrar. If you have any questions about this, reach out to your Domain Registrar or firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be able to further assist you.
Once you have created an account you will next need to create an API Key for your HV platform to communicate with your MailChimp account. Please visit the link below to show you how to do this:
Once you have created a MailChimp account and have an API Key created. You will need to create an audience named “Helpful Village”.
After following these steps we are ready to connect your Mailchimp account to your Helpful Village platform. Please send email@example.com an email with the information below:
