The Private MENU corresponds to the MENU when you are ARE logged in
For the Private Menu, all the Parent Menus are fixed and cannot be adjusted, except for the first menu item: (usually it is ‘About Us’ or ‘Village Info’).
Some sub-menu items on the private side that fall under the parent menu ‘Members’, ‘Events’, and ‘Volunteers’ cannot be edited, such as ‘New Service Request’, ‘Preferred Providers’, ‘Events’, etc. You will see that they do not display on the private side of the menu manager.
The first Parent Menu (‘About Us’ or ‘Village Info) is completely customizable. You can also add submenu’s under any of these other parent menus ‘Members’, ‘Events’, and ‘Volunteers’.
However, some of these permanent menu items can be hidden if they are not needed or used (such as ‘Village Talk’, ‘Preferred Providers’, ‘Newsletters’). If you are in ‘hiding’ these items, please let Helpful Village know.
